Ireland is a nation on the verge of a great revival that will sweep through all of Western Europe. At the same time, it is a nation facing great challenges. Drugs and alcohol, the decline of the Catholic Church and the extremely liberal policies of the Irish government all contribute to the statistics. More than 790,000 people live in poverty in Ireland, of which over 250,000 are children. One in four one-parent families live in consistent poverty.

Are you ready to be a part of a wonderful solution to a massive problem? World Missions has an exciting opportunity to share Christ in this beautiful nation and meet a very real need!

We have been working in Ireland for the last five years and have witnessed deep spiritual hunger. But we have recently received an opportunity to address the issue of physical hunger through a tremendously successful program implemented by the local churches.

Poverty is not something that comes to mind when we think of Western Europe. Financial poverty is often the result of the spiritual poverty. And we have the solution.

Our partner church has implemented a cutting-edge outreach that provides over 250 food boxes to people from various walks of life—anyone who finds themselves in a financial crisis. Through this program, the church has been able to share the love of Christ and see people’s lives transformed. This program has been so effective that the church was recognized in the national media and has been asked by the Irish government to implement it in other churches across the nation.

Since there is no language barrier, Ireland is an ideal place for effective evangelism and one-on-one relationship building.

Our mission trip offers numerous opportunities to explore the beautiful historic sites of Ireland—Cork, Kilkenny, Cobh, Kinsale and other areas.
