With Good Friday and Easter coming up, we need your help. Now that we post many articles and commentaries every day, we need thoughtful commentaries on the significance of Christ’s death and Resurrection from a perspective that would bless our readers. We need them in the next few hours, and I am utilizing this issue of the Strang Report to ask your help.

Last year, we did an article on Benny Perez of The Church at South Las Vegas and their huge Easter outreach. You can read about it by clicking here. We didn’t find out about it until after the fact, and then we reported it. Other churches contacted us saying that they had events that significantly impacted their communities as well.

If you know of such an event and you can write about it in 500 to 600 words—regarding what it was, how people responded and how it impacted the community—please send them to our news editor, Jennifer LeClaire, at [email protected]. In most cases, you won’t do it until after Easter; although, if there is some news aspect (other than simply getting people to attend), you can send it to us ahead of time.

As always, we need good artwork. I found that my iPhone takes good pictures, as it did when I was with Perry Stone last week and visited his Omega Center in Cleveland, Tenn. I will report on that soon.

I will also report to you how TBN responded to my recent article regarding our canceled interview with Paul and Jan Crouch for the 40th anniversary of TBN. You’ll find their response very interesting, as well as the response of other Christian leaders and average readers.

Please help us get the word out by sending this to people you know who are good writers, or who may know of news articles we can use. We need you to be our eyes and ears. We have a small newsgathering staff, and we rely on people in the body of Christ to help us know what is going on.

Thank you for helping us to get the word out, for subscribing to our other newsletters, and for putting our articles on social media. Every little bit helps.
