If there is one thing Christian entertainer Dino Kartsonakis has learned through the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s resilience. Both he and his wife not only contracted and battled through the coronavirus, but he also has discovered the challenges of performing through modern technology instead of onstage—something he’s done for decades as a concert pianist.
On June 15, the multi-Gospel Music Association Dove Award-winner and former pianist for evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman will perform his first virtual concert, “Together Again With Dino,” worldwide via livestreaming, and you can enjoy the show from Nashville, Tennessee, from the comfort of your own home on your TV or computer, or on any mobile device you prefer.

He began making records in 1963 and won Dove Awards for Instrumentalist of the Year in 1978, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1986. He also won Instrumental Album of the Year in 1993 and 1996.
After performing thousands of live events throughout his career, this event is a huge change for Dino. And it’s a huge leap of faith as well.
“I’ve never done this before,” Dino says. “A producer contacted me, and he’s an award-winning producer. He said to me, ‘Dino, I really feel we can do very well with you with this.’ The thing is, I’m kind of the first Christian artist that they’ve ever worked with. So, I think they are testing the waters.
“I’m trusting that Christians that know my music and those who don’t know my music will come on and purchase a ticket,” Dino says. “I’m just believing that hundreds of Christians will come on and support this, because this is going global. It’s really amazing how God has opened this door.
“I’ll be sitting at a brand-new Steinway grand piano that just came out,” he adds. “So I’ll be playing this gorgeous new piano and playing the songs that I have played for years—of course, gospel songs and hymns. It’s going to be loaded with music. … People don’t have to buy a ticket and come to a place. I’m coming to their living room. You will have the best seat in the house, so sit back and just let me entertain you with the music I’ll be playing that evening.”
