I was in prayer over a specific situation that had troubled me. As I continued praying, unwelcomed thoughts darted through my mind, and I thought to myself, “Oh, no. Here we go again. I’ve been down this road before. I know exactly how this ends.”
Immediately, I recognized that my thoughts had turned in a negative direction and were in direct opposition to what I was praying. Right away I cast down the thoughts and started thanking God that He was moving for me.
As I continued praying and thanking the Lord, I heard Him say to me, “You were never meant to live deflated.” He then showed me a vision of a limp balloon without any air. Using the balloon as an illustration, He began to teach me about the balloon’s purpose.
The first thing He shared with me was that the balloon’s manufacturer had created the balloon to be filled with air and used for festivities. “The balloon,” He announced to me, “was not fulfilling the purpose for which it was created. Sadly, many of My people are not fulfilling their purpose for which I have created them. They have had the air knocked out of them by the attacks of the enemy, and they become lethargic, refusing to allow My Spirit to once again blow fresh wind into them.”
Moreover, I heard Him command me to speak these words to His people who are living a deflated life, “Arise from your stupor and prepare yourselves,” says the Lord, “Get ready for a second wind. There is coming a ‘hyperinflation’ of My Spirit to the church.”
The kind of inflation to which the Lord refers does not involve lack, pain and suffering, but rather a refreshing, an expanding and the blowing of the wind of the Spirit, causing His people to soar high above all the conflict in the land.
Upon further research of the word “deflate,” I discovered the definition of it as follows: “to release the air or gas from something inflated; to depress or reduce (a person’s ego, hopes, spirit, etc.); to puncture or dash.”
I would ask you this question, what has deflated the air from your faith? Is your answer to this question something like, I’ve been disappointed too many times? God is commanding you right now to hope in Him. The Holy Spirit is now actively breathing a second wind into your promises. There is a charge going forth for you to arise from disappointment, heartbreak and setbacks. God is calling you higher. This is the hour of your deliverance.
“And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of My people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites” (Exod. 3:7-8, KJV).
The Hebrew word that is translated “affliction” means “depression, misery, afflicted and trouble”. As I read this text, my spirit began to leap inside of me and I heard the Lord say, “I have seen the affliction of My people, and I am come down to deliver them.” He has seen your misery, depression and trouble. God has set you up for the most incredible miracle moment ever.
I prophesy to you, “Thus says the Lord, the church is exiting the season of bondage and entering a time of acceleration. I am stretching My hand out against the spirit of the taskmaster that has enslaved you. My cleansing has begun.” Moreover, I heard the Lord say, “I am removing the magicians from the pulpits. Just as the magicians in Egypt counterfeited the miracles which I did through Moses, the counterfeit anointing that has attempted to entice My bride is being removed and exposed. Have you not read where the magicians’ power could no longer operate to imitate My works?
“And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not … Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, ‘This is the finger of God'” (Exod. 8:18-19, KJV).
God says to you to get ready! Get your shoes on and your loins girded because it is time for you to run. You are entering a season of acceleration.
“And thus, shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord’s Passover” (Exod. 12:11, KJV).
Cast off the spirit of heaviness that has oppressed you by putting on the garment of praise. It is time. Expect God’s deliverance!
“‘Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’ God’s Decree. ‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel: They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them. God, your God, says so'” (Amos 9:13-15, MSG).
Did you catch that? It proclaimed, and I believe it was to you today, “It won’t be long now.” It is your Amos 9 season. God is moving quickly. {eoa}
