Prophetic Minister Encourages Partnering with the Holy Spirit in 2022

by | Feb 14, 2022 | Blogs, Prophetic Fire

I was staring at the “Trust God” sign on the wall this morning as I was in His presence. The Spirit of the Lord began to speak to me. He spoke about those in ministry; people who want ministry opportunity and growth and people already in ministry. His people are worn out and overworked because of the lack of rest and striving to grow a ministry. Their stress and pressure are self-inflicted.

I heard Him say over a year ago, “Partner with the Holy Spirit in everything you do this year.” It seems like a simple statement of something we should always do, but the reality is we don’t.

I was sitting quietly when He spoke, “People need to minister out of a place of rest and not a place of striving. If the Holy Spirit is in it, it will be a place of rest instead of unending restlessness because you are working so hard to make it happen. If my anointing is on it, it will come with ease. It will feel as if it is rest, even though it is work.”

Recently, my marketing coach and friend said to me, “Kathy, if the Holy Spirit isn’t breathing His breath all over it, then don’t do it.” Is the Holy Spirit breathing His breath on your tasks, or are you going with the flow and the normal statistics to make it happen? This same friend and coach told me months ago, “Be a disruptor; don’t go with the norm.” Don’t do things the normal way people do them. Do it differently and if the Holy Spirit is breathing His breath on it, it will happen. It was wise advice. I’ve been a disruptor and forerunner to great things on three different occasions.

The Spirit continued to speak to me this morning. He revealed to me the law of sowing and reaping. He spoke to me about when people (we) have a check in our spirit or an unsettledness with a person in ministry, they are kingdom advancing. They are doing good things, it appears, but we can’t shake the feeling of something being off. I call it having a check in my spirit.

People strive and want their ministry to grow. When opportunities come to expand our ministry and get a larger sphere of influence, we set aside the check we had and connect and co-labor with the very person or ministry we are unsure about. He said, “Kathy when people do that, they are just as impure as the impure person they were questioning and having an unsettledness about.” He continued to the law of sowing and reaping and said if we sow into that person or ministry, we are also going to reap what they are reaping, (the negative, impurity and the part we have a check about.) He said, “If people will sit back and rest, seek Me and allow Me to lead, I will do it.” It won’t seem like so much digging and work to get kingdom business accomplished.

The Holy Spirit wants you to partner with Him and seek Him in decisions. When you rest in the presence of the Lord, step back and spend time in the secret place, He will give you the wisdom and instructions.

Don’t compare yourself to another person or ministry. The Spirit of the Lord will give you creative strategies for what He wants you to accomplish. Rest! Pray! Trust! The Spirit of the Lord is waiting to speak to you and make what you do not stress you out, so you may be able to go forth with ease. Trust Him! He knows what is best! Listen, seek and go forth in peace!

Could Judas Have Been Saved?

The answer is yes. If Judas would have simply repented to God, he could have been saved. The Bible tells us that everyone can be saved. Judas knew he had sinned but he didn’t bring it to God. A person can feel remorse within themselves, but not remorse for sinning...

A Big Excuse That Shuts Down Our Ability to Hear from God

One of the biggest excuses we have is that we somehow feel God doesn’t speak to us. This excuse shuts down our ability to hear from Him, trust Him and surrender to Him. All three things are integral when we are trying to change our habits, lose weight, get healthy and...

8 Reasons for You to Speak in Tongues

If a person were to ask, “Why speak in tongues?” couldn’t we also ask, “Why pray?” The Word of God shows a definite value in praying with an unknown tongue. Jesus tells us that “it is necessary always to pray” (Luke 18:1, MEV). Later, in speaking of prayer, Paul...
