Holy Spirit is calling His people, the body of Christ, to put their focus on what heaven is getting ready for.

It has seemed to me that these past few years have been dry times for many in the body of Christ. I am sure you have heard or read the story of the dry bones in Ezekiel 37 — dry, lifeless bones without skin, without sinews, drying out under the sun in the valley. Ezekiel was prompted by God to speak to these bones, telling them to hear the Word of the Lord, rise up and live. Then Ezekiel prophesied to the breath, telling it to breathe life into these dry bones. As the breath came into the bones, they rose up and became an exceedingly great army.

Prophet Paul Cain gave this word shortly before he died: “Fresh breath is coming to the prophetic ministry, and heart issues will be resolved because of a renewed vision of the harvest.”

The prophet Joel also spoke about the future of the church, and Peter shared that prophetic word the very day the church was born. Sometimes prophetic words are not just for the generation that is currently alive but a continuing promise for the generations to come.

In Acts 2:15-19, 21 (TPT), Peter said, “These people are not drunk like you think they are. … This is the fulfillment of what was prophesied through the prophet Joel, for God says: ‘This is what I will do in the last days — I will pour out my Spirit on everybody and cause your sons and daughters to prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will experience dreams from God. The Holy Spirit will come upon all my servants, men and women alike, and they will prophesy. I will reveal startling signs and wonders in the sky above and mighty miracles on the earth below. … But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'”

Unusual Signs, Wonders and Miracles

This move will be highlighted by specific signs and wonders similar to those that Moses and Elijah did. It will be marked by a generation of believers who can call down fire, order the sky to rain or stop raining at their word, control the winds and even part the waters. There will be remarkable miracles of all types, with many of them being broadcasted live around the world. It will be ordinary believers doing extraordinary miracles, signs and wonders.

In the spirit, I saw the anointing of the Spirit of the fear of the Lord coming upon believers as they preached the good news. I saw such an awesome reverence of the Lord touch gatherings that whole cities were won to the Lord in a day. Two manifestations of the Holy Spirit will occur: one is how swiftly the Spirit will move and touch, simultaneously, the great gatherings — like a mighty rushing wind across the world. The second is how He will move in such a mighty demonstration of power that the miracles will be uncountable, meaning there will be so many demonstrations of might, it will almost be impossible to count them.

Great Grace Pouring Out on Believers

I heard the Lord say that at this current time, great grace will be poured out on the church. This will serve as a powerful sign to the world.

My brothers and sisters, these past few years have not seen us walk well in the unconditional love of the Father toward each other. In some ways, we have become very distant from each other. We have said, “I belong to this camp,” or “I belong to that camp.” We all are Christ’s. The love demonstrated to each other and the unity of believers will be vital in the gathering of this harvest.

Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6-7 (AMPC), “That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands … God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

Let’s show the love of Christ to each other, and especially in the places where we disagree. Let’s remind each other of the flame of the Spirit that lives in each one of us.

It was spoken of Jesus that “a bruised reed He will not break and a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish” (Isa. 42:3, NASB). Let’s do good and love all that are of the household of faith. The world will see this and know that we are Christians by our love for one another. {eoa}
