A Fresh Outpouring of the Holy Spirit Is Almost Here

by | Oct 7, 2014 | Blogs, Prophetic Insight

The fading weeks of summer are often the worst time for church attendance. Every pastor knows this and suffers with it! But here is a prophetic word. YOUR CHURCH NEEDS YOU this fall, and YOU NEED YOUR CHURCH. In recent months, or even years, you may have experienced disappointment, disillusionment and depression, or labored under a general sense of malaise, but a fresh outpouring of the Spirit of God is coming to those prepared to receive Him. You need to be present to receive it, as well as to sustain it.

In coming months, where the Spirit is allowed to move, local bodies of Christ will be revitalized. There will be a strengthening sense of the presence of God manifesting in and through worship that will bring about an increase in healing anointing and other tangible measures of His presence. We have already seen sovereign healings manifest during worship when no one was specifically praying for healing or even touching one another physically. In the days to come we will see an increase in such things. This growing anointing and sense of the Presence will probably not come as a set of suddenlies, but rather as a steady rising of the waters over a period of weeks or months.

If you have been laboring under a sense of oppression and disillusionment, as have many during recent months and even years, now is the time to rise up in the Spirit, pick up your sword and claim your freedom! I sense and know that an unseen army in the spirit realm, angelic help, has been sent from heaven to move on behalf of the Lord’s beloveds to defeat the forces of oppression and bring freedom and fresh anointing. Light dawns to overcome darkness! I John 1:5, “This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.”

It is time to re-engage in the body of Christ, in relationships and in ministry, not for yourself, but for the sake of the kingdom of God and for your brothers and sisters who need the gifts God has anointed you to bring to the table in order that we might together be filled up to the fullness of Christ.

Persecution and opposition will continue in the world around us and even increase as time passes, but the power and love of God overcome all that. The great harvest of the last days cannot and will not be stopped. In the darkest of times, Jesus reigns! Rise up, people of God!

Knowing the Character of God When It Matters Most

If you have found yourself in the direct path of a searing fire in life, your bravest choice is to recognize who God is and then glorify Him as Lord. If you refuse to recognize the character and goodness of God when the temperature of life is uncomfortably high, you...

Don’t Make ‘Parties’ as an Excuse for Over-Indulging

I love a party or any get together where there is food. How about you? However, it is a big excuse many use for not losing weight. I had this excuse. It went something like this, “I can’t lose weight because I want to eat at family gatherings, parties, church carry-in...

Relax and Let the Holy Spirit Work in You

Relax and Let the Holy Spirit Work in You

Here’s an honest confession: I struggle to rest in the Lord. Maybe I’m a bit compulsive, but I find it difficult to be still and know that God is working when I can’t see what He’s doing. When I need the Lord to do something in my life, I tend to “help Him” do it. But...

The Church Revived: 3 Keys to the Emerging Move of God

During the past two years, I believe the church at large has been in a season of returning to God. Repentance is crucial when it comes to revival. Scripture shows a clear pattern that repentance precedes the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (see Joel 2:12-28 and Acts...
