On the afternoon of April 27, on a Texas highway about 95 miles southeast of Dallas, a 79-year-old man died in a car crash.

Like many others around the world, I was saddened to hear the news. I first met this man when I was in my early 20s, and the example of his life and ministry has long been an inspiration to me.
