You Must Change This in Order To Walk in God’s Plan for You

Do you ever feel it is too late to fulfill the plan and purpose God has for your life? If you do, let me encourage you. According to our country’s legal retirement years, I am several years past retirement age but still work and enjoy it. I work because I want to, not because I …

Find the Key to Success in Christ by Practicing This Daily

I was born again many years ago. At that time, I had such a thirst for God’s Word that I would read it for hours, often staying up until 2 or 3 a.m. One of the Scriptures I encountered that set me on this course was Joshua 1:8: “This Book of the Law shall not …

The Tongue: Reap the Power of Blessing

Many years ago when my daughter, Karen, was a little girl, we had a yearly problem. Every summer Karen would get a bee sting just before we went on vacation so she could not wear her shoes due to the swelling. Every summer we would say, “Next week is vacation, and she will get a …

6 Keys to Unlock the Chains of Depression

To look at me today, you would never guess I once struggled with severe depression. I am full of the joy of the Lord and minister several times a month at churches and conferences where I help people get free from all types of bondage. But nearly 30 years ago, I was almost debilitated by …

  • It’s Never Too Late

Do you ever feel that it is too late to fulfill the plan and purpose God has for your life?

If you do, let me encourage you. According to our country’s legal retirement years, I am several years past retirement age but still work and enjoy it. I work because I want to, not because I have to. Yet, I know that until God calls me home I will continue to walk in the destiny He has for me. God has promised in His Word that with long life and length of days will He satisfy me (see Ps. 91:16). I don’t allow my age to dictate what I can accomplish for God.

This year, for example, I still work PT at my job, write articles for my Web site, and continue to minister regularly, often traveling to different states and out of the country.  I also attend church and special meetings on a regular basis and find time to enjoy my grandchildren. Walking in the destiny of God is fun and exciting!

God Has the Answer to Depression

To look at me today, you would never guess I once struggled with severe depression. I am full of the joy of the Lord and minister several times a month at churches and conferences where I help people get free from all types of bondage.

But nearly 30 years ago, I was almost debilitated by this malady. When I was in its grip, all I wanted to do was go to bed and sleep-hardly an option for a wife and mother of two young children. It got so bad I didn't care to be around people at all.

  • God Wants to Bless You

    God Wants to Bless You

Key In DoorI have been ministering in churches, in home fellowship groups, at Aglow meetings and at conferences for more than 25 years. From the very beginning I have prayed for the sick and have always seen healings and miracles. But there has been an increase in the last nine years.

About ten years ago I found an interesting passage in Isaiah 35 while sitting in church waiting for a meeting to start. I felt as if God said to hide verses 3-6 in my heart and let them incubate. Throughout the next year I read them over and over and looked up some of the more significant words.

  • Freed From the Curse

Three of my four siblings died a premature death. My sister, Evelyn, died of complications related to sugar diabetes at age 48. My brother, John David, died of a heart attack at 44. My brother, Carl, passed away at 58, also from a heart attack.

After the first two went to be with the Lord, I developed health problems similar to those they had experienced—blood sugar imbalances and heart irregularities. I began to wonder what was going on.
