Unless you’re a major sports team, filling up Pasadena’s famous Rose Bowl might seem like a mammoth undertaking. But a diverse group of individuals and churches in Southern California believes it can be done.

Renting large sports facilities is nothing new for Christian organizations. Crusades, revivals and other spiritual events have been held at stadiums and arenas for decades. But the group that has secured the Rose Bowl for Friday, November 11, 2011 says it rented the historic stadium for a simple reason: to allow the Holy Spirit to move among them.

Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the 911 terrorist attacks, is dead, CNN rpeorts.  President Obama made the announcement in a late-night address to the nation Sunday.  

The President said the Al Qaeda leader was killed in a firefight with American special operations forces in Pakistan. He gave the go-ahead for the targeted assault after receiving intelligence as to bin Laden's whereabouts.  

U.S. military forces are currently in possession of bin Laden's body, the President added.

One Alabama woman is using Facebook to reconnect victims of last week's deadly tornadoes with some of their missing possessions.  

According to the Huntsville Times, Patty Bullion started the page on the popular social networking website after finding photos and other documents in her yard. The decision reportedly came after she picked up a picture of a baby's ultrasound and thought the parents would like to have it back.  

"I said to my children, 'We have got to find a way to help people know about these," Bullion told the Huntsville Times.  

Just a few hours after finding the items, the Times reports, Bullion and her children had created a Facebook page titled, "Pictures and Documents Found After the April 27, 2011 Tornadoes."  They started scanning the photos and posting them online with the hope others would follow their lead.

Evangelist Franklin Graham toured parts of tornado-ravaged Alabama Saturday.· The Samaritan's Purse president walked through rubble-filled neighborhoods in Tuscaloosa where 45 people were killed and nearly a thousand residents were injured.·

During a stop at First Baptist Church, Graham delivered some encouraging words to a group of local volunteers.· "You have been through a horrific storm," he said.· "We know that Jesus Christ is the only One who can be our anchor in a time like this. He is our only strength."

Following Wednesday's tornado outbreak, Samaritan's Purse deployed two tractor trailers filled with emergency relief supplies to the devastated region.· First Baptist Pastor Gil McKee said the large number of volunteers from Graham's organization was a welcome sight.
